You have been asked to participate in a study being conducted under the supervision of Dr. Amy Nicole Salvaggio, assistant professor of Psychology at the University of Tulsa. The principal investigator is David Stewart, a Ph.D. student at the University of Tulsa. This document is an individual’s consent form for participation in that research project. The purpose of this study is to enhance our understanding of conflicts between work and family. Participating in this study consists of completing a browser-based questionnaire. The measures we use are not a test of intelligence or psychopathology. There is no foreseeable exposure to risks by participating in this study. The benefits of participating include contributing to the collection of scientific data about perceptions of work and family conflict. By consenting to this agreement, you acknowledge that you understand the following: 1.  Participation is entirely voluntary. You will not be penalized in any way for refusing to participate at any point in this study. You can quit at any time. 2. You may choose not to answer any question without any penalty. 3.  Your identity is strictly confidential. The questionnaire is identified with a code number not associated in any way with your identity. 4.  This study is designed to assess individual behavior in an organizational setting. As such, to complete this survey, you must be 18 years of age and work at least 20 hours per week. If you are unsure if your work situation qualifies you, please feel free to ask us. 5.  This study takes approximately one half hour to complete.
